Competition Terms and Conditions
The following incentives are being promoted throughout the campaign period by (Promoter Glaucoma Australia) and entry is open to all registered participants of the 7 Sights Challenge.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communication failure or otherwise.
The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competitions. By entering, entrants' consent to the storage of their personal information on the database of the Promoter and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding eye health promotions and glaucoma. This includes quotes, images uploaded to the Funraisin platform/7 Sights Challenge website or submitted to competitions and details collected during registration, and post event surveys.
- Conditions for entry for all competitions
- Entrants will be identified automatically using the registration details entered through the website sevensights.org.au which is hosted on the Funraisin platform.
- Unless otherwise specified in the competition condition of entry, only one entry per competition is allowed for each individual, although that individual may enter all competitions that they qualify for.
- Although challenge participants can sign up and fundraise from anywhere in the world, the Promoter will not accept competition entries from people residing in or accessing this Website from a country other than Australia.
- All entrants must be aged 18 or over to enter any of competitions related to the 7 Sights Challenge
- Members of Glaucoma Australia’s Board, Committees and staff and their family members are not eligible to win any of the competitions relating to the 7 Sights Challenge. In the event that they are selected randomly as a winner, a redraw will be conducted to select the final winner.
- No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.
- For all competitions, the Promoter reserves the right to:
- Verify the validity of entries and participants;
- Disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the conditions of entry; and
- Disqualify any participant submitting an entry which infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights, or in the Promoter’s opinion, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory language.
- Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a participant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the participant.
- Prizes for all competitions
- The total prize pool for all competitions comes to a value of $6,899
- All prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or vouchers.
- The $24 in 24 hour competition will be drawn and announced on social media including the 7 Sights Challengers Facebook Group on Saturday 4 March 2023
- The $48 in 48 hour competition will be drawn and announced on social media including the 7 Sights Challengers Facebook Group and the on Monday 27 March 2023
- All other draws for the Game of Chance competitions for the 7 Sights Challenge will take place at the Promoters’ office address; 44 Hampden Road, Artarmon NSW 2064 on Thursday 13 April 2023.
- At the time specified, all valid entries for each competition will be entered into a process of random selection.
- The winning entry will be the entry that is selected at a random draw for the relevant competition.
- The number of winning entries to be selected will be the same as the total number of Prizes specified for each competition.
- The Promoter’s decision for all competitions will be final and binding and no correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
- All winners will receive a Prize.
- The winner’s details may be published on the Promoter’s event website and social media accounts once the Winners have been notified.
- Notification of Winners for all competitions
- The winners of all the specified promotions below will be notified by the Promoter no later than Thursday, 13 April 2023 by phone and email. Two attempts of contact will be made, but if no response is received withing 10 working days, another winner will be selected and notified by Thursday, 21 April 2023.

Prize
Everyone who registers for the 7 Sights Challenge on sevensights.org.au and has raised funds during the challenge period will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win 1 Apple Airpod Pro valued at $399. Entries do not include any ‘Expressions of Interest’ submitted prior to the website opening for registrations on Monday 9 January 2023.
To be eligible to win entrants must;
- register online for the 7 Sights Challenge on the website sevensights.org.au and;
meet all other conditions of entry specified in section 1. - A total of 1 winner will be drawn by random selection by the Promoter. This competition is a Game of Chance.

Self Donation Competition
Prize
All participants registered for the Challenge who have made a self donation will be entered into the draw to win a $200 Gift Card.
To be eligible to enter this competition, participants must;
- be registered for the 7 Sights Challenge;
- made a self donation on their fundraising page before fundraising closes on Friday 31 March 2023, and;
meet all other conditions of entry specified in section 1.
A total of 1 winner will be drawn by random selection. This competition is a Game of Chance.

Raise $24 in $24 Hours Competition
Prize
All challenge participants who receive at least one donation of $24 or more within 24 hours during the promotional period will automatically go in the draw to with one $200 Gift Card.
To be eligible to enter this competition, participants must;
- fundraise at least $24 in a single donation for the 24 hours during competition period, and;
- meet all other conditions of entry specified in section 1.
Participants are eligible for multiple entries into the draw. For each donation of $24 or more received by the participant within the promotional period, the participant will receive one entry into the draw to win the prize.
A total of 1 winner will be drawn by random selection. This competition is a Game of Chance.

Raise $48 in $48 Hours Competition
Prize
All challenge participants who receive at least one donation of $48 or more within 48 hours during the promotional period will automatically go in the draw to win a $300 Red Balloon Voucher.
To be eligible to enter this competition, participants must;
- fundraise at least $48 in a single donation for the 48 hours during competition period, and;
- meet all other conditions of entry specified in section 1.
Participants are eligible for multiple entries into the draw. For each donation of $48 or more received by the participant within the promotional period, the participant will receive one entry into the draw to win the prize.
A total of 1 winner will be drawn by random selection by the Promoter as specified in subsection 3.4. This competition is a Game of Chance.

Last Day to Fundraise Competition
Prize
Participants who receive donations on the last fundraising day (31 March) will go in the draw to win a $200 Gift Card
To be eligible to enter this competition, participants must;
- receive donations to their fundraising page during the competition period and;
- meet all other conditions of entry specified in section 1.
Participants are eligible for multiple entries into the draw. For each donation received by the participant within the promotional period, the participant will receive one entry into the draw to win the prize.
A total of 1 winner will be drawn by random selection by the Promoter as specified in subsection 3.4. This competition is a Game of Chance.
The winner will be 1 individual who receives donations on Friday 31 March 2023.

Dollar Match Day
Between 09:00AM AEDT – 11:59PM AEDT on Thursday 16 March 2023, all donations made to a 7 Sights Challenge individual, team, or organisation page will be matched by our Dollar Match Day Partners; Luxottica up to the total value of $10,000 AUD. The maximum donation amount that will be matched for each participant is $500.
The dollar match will be confirmed by a donation receipt and appear automatically on the participants fundraising page during the Dollar Match period. If the $10,000 dollar match amount is reached before 11.59PM AEDT on Thursday 16 March, Glaucoma Australia will make an announcement of this on the organisation’s Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram channels.
The final total raised on Dollar Match Day will be announced by Glaucoma Australia on Friday 17 March, 2023 via an email to participants and a post on Glaucoma Australia’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels.
7 Sights University Competition
Prize
The first 400 participants to register and join a University team will receive 1 x Designs for Vision (DFV) PD Ruler valued at $5.
There is a limit of 1 ruler per participant. Team members could include students, lecturers, faculaty members and University staff.

7 Sights University Top Fundraising Team Competition
Prize
The university that raises the most funds will win 1 x Designs for Vision iCare HOME2 Self-Tonometre valued at $3600.
Funds must be received by fundraising close date. The device will be donated to the University faculty and to be used for educational purposes only.
This is a Game of Skill and the winner will be the highest university fundraising team on the 7 Sights Leaderboard at 11.59PM AEDT on Friday 31st March 2023.

7 Sights Challenge Survey
Prize
All challenge participants who complete the 7 Sights Challenge survey will go in the draw to win 1 x $100 Gift Card.
This competition is a Game of Chance. The winner will be drawn by random selection on Friday 14 April 2023 and notified via email.

Ownership
This site sevensights.org.au (“Website”) is owned and operated by Glaucoma Australia Incorporated (ABN: 52610716720). The ‘7 Sights Challenge’ forms part of Glaucoma Australia’s fundraising initiatives and is in accordance with current state charity licenses and authority to fundraise (ACNC charity incorporated number Y0471241).
Photographic Consent
If you share, post, or upload photos or videos (“Images”) to the event website, or tag or link Glaucoma Australia in such content on social media, you consent to the following:
- Glaucoma Australia has permission to use, distribute, modify, display, and create derivative works from the Images in promotional collateral and on Glaucoma Australia websites, publications, and on any other medium now or in the future in perpetuity. You waive any right to review or approve any uses of the Images.
- Where you, or any of the subjects appearing in the Images, are identified or identifiable in the Images, you give Glaucoma Australia permission to identify you and the other subjects by name.
- You agree the Images may be also be used by Glaucoma Australia and that you are not entitled to any remuneration or compensation from Glaucoma Australia or its affiliates for the Images.
You confirm that:
- You are the creator and the copyright owner of any Images you share, post, or upload to the event website, or tag Glaucoma Australia or the event in on social media, and you have the permission or consent of all persons who are captured and identifiable in the Images you provide to Glaucoma Australia (including parental consent if the subject is under the age of 16).
- You understand that any content and images that you share, post, or upload on the 7 Sights website may be crawled and stored by web services such as search engines, social media platforms, or archiving tools. Glaucoma Australia is not responsible for removing information stored by third parties.
- You understand that the use of the #SevenSights hashtag on Instagram or Facebook, or shared on the 7 Sights Challenge Facebook Groups may result in the photos shared being included on the sevensights.org.au website and through Glaucoma Australia’s official social media channels.

Glaucoma Australia, Inc. is either the owner or licensed user of the copyright in the material on this site.
Governing Law
These terms of service are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

Donations Receipts
Receipts will be issued directly to the donor. Fundraisers will not be issued receipts for funds paid to Glaucoma Australia on behalf of donors.
Please note receipts will not be issued for any expenses incurred in connection with Glaucoma Australia’s 7 Sights Challenge.
The 7 Sights Challenge participants/fundraisers must not fundraise or accept donations in connection with this event for any charity or organization other than the Glaucoma Australia.
Tax Receipts
You indemnify us including Glaucoma Australia officers, agents, contractors, volunteers and employees (those Indemnified) against all losses, liabilities, legal costs and other expenses incurred by those Indemnified arising directly or indirectly as a result of or in connection with the breach by you of any provision of these Terms and Conditions or any willful, unlawful or negligent act by you.
