What colour are your eyes?

My eyes are blue, right? Right? When I went to the Ophthalmologist to have my eye surgery, I found out that my eyes are in fact not blue at all, but grey. It still kind of freaks me out. Aren't they blue? They looked blue to me, grey wasn't even on my radar, but they do the thing that grey eyes do, which is that they change colour, sometimes blueish, sometimes not so blueish. And any way, who am I to argue with someone whose job it is to know a lot about eyes (including their colour).

It came as a surprise

I was diagnosed with glaucoma  in 2017. Came as a complete surprise to me as I didn't even realise it. The diagnosis came as I was having a regular eye check-up. Don't miss out on those checkups, hey!
